Emergency Response Line

A 24 hour Emergency Contact Number has been established for Ulan Mine. The number is the same as Ulan Mine Switch Phone Number (02 6372 5300). During office hours calls will be answered by the receptionist. After hours you will be answered by the Ulan Coal Mines Limited (UCML) Control Room which is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Please note the after hours system has been set for emergency events, such as accidents and fires on or near UCML, where site personnel may be able to render assistance. Community complaints or inquiries should be directed to the Environment and Community Manager, Phil English on (02) 6372 5387 or Cheryl Holden on (02) 6372 5329 during business hours. Alternatively, complaints can also be directed to the Environment and Community team via the new 24hr UCML Community Complaints Line (0417 049 493).
