Environmental management programs and work procedures are developed in response to environmental management requirements and may be updated at any time in response to changed circumstances. This includes ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Under DA 103-5-2005, Ulan Mine is required to prepare and implement a range of environmental management plans and programs. These plans and programs must be periodically reviewed and updated over the life of the mine in accordance with the Development Consent. The consent allows for the development of shared environmental management plans and monitoring programs between Ulan Mine’s open cut and underground operations.
